The George Fund is an endowed, field of interest Fund. This means all gifts contributed:
- Are fully tax deductible
- Generate earnings to be disbursed each year
- Support nonprofit organizations working for the advancement of women's health
Our goal is to amass the resources necessary to provide financial support needed for all aspects of women's health.
The George Fund interprets comphrensive health services to be consistent with the World Health Organization's definition of health -- an integration of physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
Early in his medical career, Dr. Tiller came to understand that women who are able to control their reproductive health are able to control their destiny.
We begin our quest by concentrating on the issue of comprehensive reproductive health services for low income women.
