Message from Jeanne Tiller

"Attitude is Everything" -- was more than a belief; it was a way of life for 45 years with my husband George. George was a highly motivated, focused, and energetic individual, I often told him that he was "Tigger" (Winnie the Pooh) and the Energizer Bunny all rolled into one.

Over the years, friends and I encouraged George to write a book (his story); but he said, "No, my story will be told in the lives of women I helped." I have countless letters from women he helped make their lifetime dreams and goals come true. He knew that he would need to retire one day but asked, "Who will help the women?" Retirement was not in his vocabulary, which is why I felt starting a fund in his name would continue his legacy of helping women empower themselves to reach their fullest potential.

George was a dedicated physician and a humble man. He was my life-mate, we did everything together. He was a devoted father and a loving grandfather, always encouraging his children and grandchildren to rise to their highest potential. George loved his country and served with pride in the United States Navy. My husband constantly helped friends and even people unknown to me. George served others.

During our 45-year marriage, a day never went by without him saying, "Have I told you today that I love you?" George was my best friend.

My life is forever changed without him. But, I know he would want all of us to continue to thrive and be the best we can be -- George would say, "Get up, dress up, and show up" -- something he did every day of his life. I feel he is watching and encouraging us to continue to do "the next right thing."

I ask you to join us in our work to honor his legacy.

With Peace and Hope,

Jeanne E. Tiller
