The Wichita Community Foundation

The business of the Wichita Community Foundation is helping people achieve their charitable objectives. They are a nonprofit corporation, certified as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service, and accredited by the National Standards program of the Council on Foundations. In Kansas, the Wichita Community Foundation is one of the largest community foundations in the state, holding assets of $46 million.

The George Fund is invested in the Wichita Community Foundation's Balanced Investment Pool. This pool is compromised of domestic and international equities, fixed income, real assets, alternative investments, and cash.

Assets are managed by the Foundation Investment Committee, with consultation and advice from Fund Evaluation Group (FEG), their investment consultant. Total investment management fees for the Balanced Pool, including fees for FEG, are approximately 0.85%.
